Zac Cross is the director of Cross Country Fishing Charters, a charter boat company born out of a love of fishing and boats. Zac grew up in the Wimmera, Horsham Victoria and spent his childhood fishing, yabbying and hunting. His love of fishing soon led to the love of boats, and that’s when fishing became an addiction.

At 18 he purchased his first boat, a 4.88m Savage Osprey, but unfortunately it wasn’t long until he wanted bigger and better, and that’s how his adventure started. Over the next 10 years he bought and sold boats of all shapes and sizes, travelling far and wide to get them and having 3 at one time was a regular occurrence.
Finally in 2016 he made the big decision to make a permanent move from his home town to Geelong for a sea change. He’d spoken for years of having his own charter business, tackle shop and TV show, and finally decided that now was as good as time as any and began drawing up his dream boat.
