Our international award winning Drum Winches feature specifically designed marine grade patented motors and oversized Worm Drive Gearboxes, and are IP68 rated to suit even the harshest environments. The motors can be moved into 12 different positions to ensure that each Drum Winch can be installed on almost any vessel. Paired with our EFF™ Electronic Fast Fall System, our Drum Winches can reach speeds of over 100m per minute.

The Stainless Steel Series (SSS™) is the world's first and only complete 316 stainless steel winch. Like the SS™ range, the SSS™ features a fully sealed 316 stainless steel motor, but also a 316 stainless steel gearbox. Machined to fine tolerances and utilising O-ring seals, the SSS™ series motors are completely submersible without the use of sealants or glues, so corrosion is no longer a concern. This is the Rolls Royce of winches.

The 1000SSS package includes 95m of 7mm double braid rope and 7m chain, and is suitable for boats up to 7m (23ft).

Patented injection mould P a t e n t e d i n j e c t i o n m o u l d

Sealing the motor was not enough. A patented injection mould fills every air pocket inside the motor, so there is nowhere for condensation to form.

Condensation is one of the main causes of motor failure in the marine industry. Once water takes hold, rust and corrosion follow. The casing is a solid block with no covers or sleeves.

Emergency manual release E m e r g e n c y m a n u a l r e l e a s e

Drop your anchor without power. An allen key disengages the drum so it spins freely, and a hand crank can be fitted to wind the winch back in if your battery fails.

Got the 1000 SSS and couldn't be happier. Works exactly as described and the whole setup was straightforward. Five stars.

Did a lot of research before settling on the 1000 SSS and it was absolutely the right call. Well made, the right motor setup for my boat, and the whole package came together exactly as expected. In the process of installing now - can't wait to get it on the water.

Ordered the 1000 SSS with a 7.5kg anchor after my marine mechanic recommended it. Fit my Trailcraft 610 Sportscab like a dream. The whole unit looks great, feels solid, and the 7-year warranty tells you everything you need to know about the quality. If you're after a reliable anchor winch, this is the one.

Not the cheapest option but absolutely worth it for the quality. The 7-year warranty versus the standard 1-year from other brands says it all. I got the 1000 SSS for my 6m ProCraft and it fits perfectly. The wiring harness is straightforward if you have basic electrical knowledge. The whole unit looks and works bloody fantastic.

after a long decision as to which winch to fit to our new boat we came to the conclusion Savwinch was the way to go and by all means has lived up to its solid reputation.

Rigorous use right through serious offshore, inshore, and fresh water applications. The 1000W model winch on our 5m plate boat hasn't skipped a beatfor a second, smooth, quiet and reliable drops of the pick definitely has helped us in our quest for trophy fish!

Hi I purchased a sav winch just over 12 months ago and fitted it to my 545 Bluewater streaker. This season I have used the winch many times( long service leave )and the winch has proven itself to be completely reliable. While fishing in bass strait out of mcglouglins beach when combination of wind and tide made anchoring in deep water (30mtrs) a little difficult at times I contacted nick about the fast fall system he had one out in the post the next day. This item has allowed me to now anchor exactly where I want to be. Even on those windy days. People often comment on how quiet the motor is in operation. To sum up I'm very happy with the product and have found Nick tone great to deal with. Happy fishing Cheers Ivan.
