Richard Abela, director of Dream Catcher II SportFishing, is a very popular, influential, fisherman. Richard has won multiple major fishing competitions, hosted the World record holders for Best Woman 60 kg line-class for Swordfish, and world record catch for 10-year-old Daniel Lazarevski, for a 116kg southern bluefin tuna.

The roots of Richard’s fishing goes back to being a kid chasing snapper in Port Phillip Bay. Today, Richard’s attention is focused on broadbill swordfish.
