Savwinch Comes On Board With Fish For Life
Savwinch cares about giving back to the community, which is why we have chosen to sponsor Fish for Life. Fish for Life is a fundraising organisation that is currently raising money for the Cancer Council Australia by embarking on one of the biggest boating and fishing challenges that Australia has ever seen. Captain Mark Ratchford will depart from the Melbourne Boat Show on Sunday the 19th of June, 2016, embarking on a quest in order to raise money to help find a cure for cancer, whilst traveling around Australia and stopping at many destinations along the way.
Fish for Life currently have a great campaign called Angel Wings. Have you lost a loved one to cancer? For a small donation, you can have a loved one’s name and age printed on the side of the Fish for Life boat, as well as a life story with a photo that will be featured on the Fish for Life website.
We believe in making a positive social contribution, which is why we have chosen to sponsor a worthy cause such as Fish for Life. Whilst Fish for Life are soon embarking on their great boating and fishing challenge, they also have many upcoming events planned for all around Australia. Not only are we helping out by promoting Fish For Life on our website and social media, we’ve also donated one of our multi award winning 1500W Boat Anchor Winches. This not only ensures that Mark is always safe on the water whenever he wishes to anchor, but also that he will be able to anchor and move around at ease with only the push of a button. Mark is a fantastic advocate for the cause and its been a pleasure dealing with him and the Fish For Life team.
Whilst we’re only just promoting this now, Savwinch have been actively working with Fish For Life for a whole year now. We’re hoping we can continue this partnership for years to come, and help raise more money for the Cancer Council Australia.
