Snubber Hook & Rope

The Snubber hook is used to relieve tension and prevent anchor chain movement, effectively stopping it from rubbing or grinding on the bow roller during overnight mooring.

Operation: The chain claw is fitted to the anchor chain just forward of the boat. A mooring line is then run from the claw’s attachment eye back to a deck bollard to stabilise the chain.
