The Savwinch 1500TT-SS Truck Tarp Motor Kit pairs a 316 stainless steel motor with an aluminium gearbox. The IP68 motor runs on 12V or 24V. Designed, owned, and engineered in Australia. Built for all roads. Part numbers: 5112 (12V) / 5112-24 (24V). Bracket sold separately.
Installation 1: replace the existing hand wheel with a Savwinch motorised solution. The motor connects to the existing tarp mechanism, allowing the tarp to be opened and closed quickly, safely and effortlessly using powered controls. This retrofit option is ideal for trucks already fitted with a compatible manual roll-tarp system.
Installation 2: install the Savwinch motor directly onto the tarp system's main shaft for a compact and efficient powered setup. This direct-drive setup delivers the motor's power straight to the main shaft, helping the tarp open and close smoothly and reliably.
Choose your configuration. Standard Package: unbundled electronics (12V/24V solenoid, up/down switch, wireless remote and circuit breaker), so you can wire the electrical setup to suit the truck. Optional Upgrade #1: pre-wired electronics in a waterproof box, with switch gear and wiring protected inside the box to simplify installation and reduce setup time. Optional Upgrade #2: bundled electronics in an automated, fully sealed waterproof control box with automatic open and close limits and built-in over-current protection.
Need pulleys or belts? If your truck comes with a pre-supplied pulley, Savwinch can provide optional extras to complete the installation. These include our world-class split pulley, which simplifies the installation process, as well as a standard pulley and belts.
