Our international award winning Drum Winches feature specifically designed marine grade patented motors and oversized Worm Drive Gearboxes, and are IP68 rated to suit even the harshest environments. The motors can be moved into 12 different positions to ensure that each Drum Winch can be installed on almost any vessel. Paired with our EFF™ Electronic Fast Fall System, our Drum Winches can reach speeds of over 100m per minute.

In detail

The Signature Series (SS™) features a complete stainless steel motor, designed locally and exclusively for Savwinch. Machined to fine tolerances and utilising O-ring seals, the SS™ series motors are completely submersible without the use of sealants or glues, so corrosion is no longer a concern. The 450SS package includes 45m of 6mm double braid rope and 5m chain, and is suitable for boats up to 4.5m (15ft).

Patented injection mould

Sealing the motor was not enough. A patented injection mould fills every air pocket inside the motor, so there is nowhere for condensation to form.

Condensation is one of the main causes of motor failure in the marine industry. Once water takes hold, rust and corrosion follow. The casing is a solid block with no covers or sleeves.
